General Information
Every passenger elevator, except automatic elevators and moving stairways, shall be in charge of a licensed operator while such installation is in use.

Application Requirements
You must submit the following:
- Building Trades Business License Application
- Written and practical test (required upon initial application for a elevator operator license)
- The required fee

Fees
The initial application fee for a elevator operator license is $2.00, the renewal fee for a elevator operator license is $1.00 per year.
Expiration/Renewal
All Trade Licenses expire on December 1 and may be renewed annually.
