Overview

Saint Paul Animal Control provides temporary housing for dogs, cats, and other domestic animals in need of sheltering due to a variety of circumstances. We are a socially-conscious animal shelter working to ensure that pets and people are reunited whenever possible, and that all adoptable animals find new homes. Saint Paul Animal Control has saved more than 90 percent of in-custody animals every year since 2014.

FAQs

Animal Placement

Most animals sheltered at Saint Paul Animal Control (SPAC) that are not reunited with their owners are released to approved rescue partners. Saint Paul Animal Control currently promotes partner release over direct adoption to ensure animals receive prompt veterinary services and find new homes as quickly as possible.
