Overview

This license is for businesses where large quantities of flammable liquids are stored for wholesale purposes or distribution. If you have questions, contact DSI at 651-266-8989, or email the DSI Message Center.

Application Requirements

Apply online at PAULIE*

  • Information needed for your online application:
    • Proof of current Secretary of State registration and Assumed Name Filing
    • Minnesota State tax identification number
    • Business Purchase Agreement (Only for Change of Ownership applications)
    • Property Lease / rental agreement or proof of ownership

Inspections

This license requires inspection approvals from the Saint Paul Fire Department (Phone: 651-266-8989) and Zoning, DSI (Phone: 651-266-9008).

Expiration/Renewal

A Bulk Oil Storage License expires one year from the date of issue and may be renewed annually.
