Overview

This license is for the control or elimination of insects, vermin, rodents, and pest birds (including but not limited to, starlings, sparrows, and feral pigeons) within or outside of any structure, by the application and use of chemicals, trapping, structural alterations, and other control limits. Application Requirements

Apply online at PAULIE*

  • Information needed for your online application:
    • Proof of current Secretary of State registration and Assumed Name Filing
    • A list of employees and their State of Minnesota Pest Control license number and Agronomy and Plant Protection Division license number
    • MDA Structural Pest Control Master License
    • A Certificate of Insurance with $100,000/$200,000 personal injury or accidental death and $10,000 property damage. There must be a 30-day notice of cancellation
    • Business Purchase Agreement (Only for Change of Ownership applications)
    • Property Lease / rental agreement or proof of ownership
    • Site/Floor Plan

Inspections

This license requires inspection approvals from the Saint Paul Fire Department (Phone: 651-266-8989), Licensing (Phone: 651-266-8989), and Zoning (Phone: 651-266-9008).

Expiration/Renewal

A Pest Control License expires on the same date as the insurance and may be renewed annually.
