Overview

Mercantile Broker includes any person who through himself or any agent or agents, for commission or compensation of any type, kind or nature, engages in and carries on the business of selling, trading, exchanging or negotiating for the sale, trade or exchange of mercantile or merchandise business of any kind or description, or engages in the business of acting as an intermediary between buyer and seller of business in consideration of a brokerage fee or commission or compensation for the sale of the business or merchandise.

Application Requirements

You must submit the following:

  1. Class R License Application
  2. Certificate of insurance: $5,000 property damage per vehicle or surety bond in the amount of $5,000 conditioned that licensee shall pay any and all final judgments for damage to property, public, or private
  3. Required fee

Expiration & Renewal

A Mercantile Broker License expires one year from the date of issue and may be renewed annually.
