Overview

This license is for a business where two or more secondhand goods dealers are engaged in business by maintaining separate sales space and identifying themselves to the public as individual dealers.

For businesses who sell and receive tangible personal property, see Secondhand Dealer - Antiques / comp. / elec. For an exhibition, convention, show or exposition of secondhand goods or antiques for a limited period of time, see Secondhand Dealer - Exhibition License. Apply online at PAULIE*

  • Information needed for your online applicaton:
    • Submit location information of where business records will be kept and/or maintained
    • List of the typical items that are anticipated to be sold
    • Proposed business hours of operation
    • Signed Lease or proof of ownership
    • Site and Floor Plan

Inspections

This license requires inspection approvals from the Saint Paul Fire Safety Inspections, Licensing (Phone: 651-266-8989), Police (Phone: 651-291-1111), and Zoning (Phone: 651-266-9008).

Expiration/Renewal

A Secondhand Dealer - Multiple Dealer License will expire one year from the date of issuance and may be renewed annually.
